People Say I'm Crazy.

When I first learned to play guitar; left-handed, people say I'm crazy.

Maybe they never know about Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain or Dick Dale. And if they were not so immersed in international music, they should have known about Joe Wings, Rudy Gerhana Ska Cinta, Man Kidal.

When I buy my first bass for RM800+, people say I'm crazy.

But I was extremely satisfied for it, until today. It might only worth a little more or less USD100 here in the States, but at least I have something to rock on.

When I spent RM400 alone my bass hard case, people say I'm crazy.

But it's a Gator Deluxe hard case; made in USA. With a lifetime warranty and a safety lock. I probably never have to buy another hard case for the rest of my life.

When I struggled, paying a few bucks to get my bass flying here, people say I'm crazy.

But am I? It might not be a Fender Jaguar or an American Standard, but still it is my first bass. I valued it as the first step for me, until one day I get my hands on one of these custom made left-handed bass. 

When I took an elective subject; MUS115 for this semester, people say I'm crazy.

But my passion for music sometimes overcome my rational thinking. Once I get hooked up on music, no one, yes, particularly no one can stop me.

When I uploaded my left-handed covers to YouTube, people say I'm crazy.

They thought no one would ever watch a left-handed cover on the internet. But believe me, at least I've tried. Being left-handed is a gift, and my passion for art is included.

When I spent hours looking at Synthesia's notation, people say I'm crazy.

But at least I know a couple of songs for keyboard; I'm not born talented so I have to learn. I can spend hours only listening to music, from any period, be it the Middle Ages, up to the 60's, to the 90's and even contemporary.

Music is my life. My passion.
